Shopbot and Brother
How Brother drive qualify traffic with Shopbot
The Brother Group is present in more than 44 countries and Brother Canada has made its mark in North America as a top B2B manufacturer of award-winning printers, Multi-Function Center® all-in-ones, ScanNCuts, market-leading P-touch® electronic labelers and sewing and embroidery machines. Brother was looking to expand their online B2C reach and looked for a quick, easy and value-priced solution that could help them push their product line to a wider yet still qualitative audience.
Shopbot started to work with Brother Canada in October 2015. They helped Brother set up their very own product feed system in a just a matter of a few weeks. With quick set-up and support on the optimization of their data feed, their product catalog was live in no time on shopbot.ca, just in time for the big holiday season. The aim was to increase their online reach rapidly. Shopbot worked to increase their visibility not only all year round, but also on the biggest traf c days such as Black Friday in order to boost direct sales.
By diversifying their sources of traf c, Brother Canada not only increased their online footprint in the ecommerce B2C sphere but also received highly quali ed traf c converting above industry average at 8%. Now their feed shows next to their resellers and partners which allows Brother Canada to funnel quali ed traf c to speci c products and models. With less than a year on Shopbot, Brother Canada now has a B2C ‘voice’ on a common platform that outshines their competitors. On Black Friday alone, using targeted display campaigns, Brother Canada increased its Shopbot traf c by 10X fold.
«We found Shopbot to be a good solution for our business needs. It is low in cost and provides for a quick setup. During Black Friday we drove more trafic, generated more transactions and more importantly increased our web and brand presence, overall.
Our Shopbot Black Friday special promotion generated 10x more traf c to Brother than we get during the normal period» – Anne Laboissonnière, B2C and E-Commerce Specialist
